Cats

There must be thousands of stray cats in Turkey, they are just everywhere. They were prolific in Istanbul, we have not seen quite as many of them here in Duvutlar. They were on all the Greek Islands as well, amongst the ruins that we visited.

The one that Lily befriended and named Kefeer, returned to us again. Mark had succumbed to his daughters pleadings, and bought some cat food for it, so last night it was one well fed kitty. But......give an inch, take a mile, we were having great difficulty keeping it out of the house ......

and today we were told in no uncertain terms that the cat was not to be fed or encouraged to come around by our Irish neighbor. They are pests, and carry disease. lily is very sad, and Poppa says she can put the food under the tree under cover of night.
Be interesting to see if that happens :)

  2. I will pass that on to her mother, who continues to encourage feeding of the aforementioned cat:)
