Poolside on the Costa Atlantica

As the weather is very hot ......around 34-35o at least, many of the passengers elect to stay on the ship, and relax around the three pools on deck. One of these pools is designated adults only, but we have not managed to get there yet. There are bars all around, so you can order any drink that takes your fancy, the buffet dining room is a short walk away, so you can eat to your hearts delight.

We (Mark and I ) have discovered the alcohol free cocktails, which are covered in our drinks package. The drinks package is a certain amount of euro per day, covering most alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks, along with coffees that are not served in the dining rooms. It is a good deal, so we have all taken it up. You just present your room card, and sign the chit to buy a drink.

The swimming pool area is just full of flesh. I swear I have not seen this amount ever, in Australia. It makes no difference what your shape or age is, you can still fit into a bikini:). Lily actually saw a topless sunbather today, I believe it was a woman.


This morning, Frank, Liz and I went ashore, and took the hoho bus around Crete. After we got off, we found the most delicious baklava ever !
