An excursion to the beach today, a short boat ride to a small island off the coast of Samos. What we were not told was that we had to mountain hike for five minutes to actually get to the beach.
This was on the flat, prior to that, we had climbed, and afterwards, descended.
This is the sight that greeted us.
Clear blue water, and Turkey just visible in the background. After an hour here, we were taken back to a rocky beach on Samos for a BBQ lunch, and another swim.
It was so tiring, that Lily fell asleep on the boat back to the harbour.
It was such a hot day, about 38 degrees, when we finally arrived back on board, we hit the first bar for a nice cold drink.
