The Great Shade-sail Installation

When we offered to install a shade sail to enable to twins to enjoy their backyard, we had no intention of spending $5000, but this price was what we were quoted by one firm, and the other firm we approached would not even quote, they were so busy. They, however, offered to deliver the necessary bits and pieces for $800.

TRO took it upon himself to source the needed materials , and do the installation as well.

This has taken place over two Fridays , beginning with the delivery of the required treated pine poles.

As well as working hard, he has had the pleasure of the company of the small girlies, who never fail to delight us both.

The second Friday, today, saw the job completed.

TRO became a tree hugger in the process!

All done, a wonderful job, which will extend the shade further than the apple tree, and enable the backyard to be utilized in the mornings as well as the afternoons.

Posted from another day in Paradise.

  1. Looks like a hard job but the end result would be rewarding :)I think taking the photos of the action was the best contribution to make in putting it up :))
