At this time of the year, sydney holds their "Vivid" festival, there are many light installations throughout the city, so our cruise was to take in some of the lights.

This gives you some idea of what part of the harbor looks like during the festival. My photos of course, are but a poor rendition of what can be achieved with a good camera and perhaps a helicopter.
After a delightful evening on the harbor, we farewelled our friends, arranging to meet the next morning for our next excursion to Newtown for breakfast.
I found the Turkish restaurant on the Internet, and as we love Turkish food, and our friends like food, we decided to try it out.
The food was just delicious, and the restaurant was wonderfully decorated with all things Turkish. It brought back many fond memories of our travels in that country.
Our breakfast looked a little like this, and has inspired me to cook one for ourselves before too long.
After pottering around the shops for a little while, we found our way to the train station, negotiated the ticket machine, and went back to our hotel.
This afternoon we went to see the magnificent show "Les Miserables ". Neither of us had read Victor Hugo's book, and no idea what the show was about. Luckily, the synopsis was written in the program, so we were able to follow exactly what was going on. What a great story of redemption it was !
It was not to far to walk there and back to the theatre from the hotel, we are become quite accustomed to Sydney now. The walking helps to compensate for all the eating we are doing.
Some more of the light installations, this time the Sydney Town Hall.
I it was lovely catching up with you in Sydney. The breakfast feast convinced me to put Turkey on my never ending bucket list ( working my way through it slowly but surely haha)
